Valve's CS2 demo outage means that Leetify isn't able to get data for any of your MM games. Ultimately, Leetify cannot survive without these demos. But that doesn't mean we are giving up! We are optimistic that this temporary change will be resolved eventually, and here's an update on what we're working on in the meantime.

1. Where are my Match Pages?
We use CSTV Demos (Replay Files) to automatically track your performance. Demos are a file which contains all of the data to reconstruct a CS2 match. We use these files to figure out all of the stats we show on Leetify.
Valve provides an amazing system to fetch these replay files for your matches. Once you've authorized Leetify to see these, we can automatically download and parse all of your MM games. This system is the main reason so many great third-party tools are available for CS.
However, the CS2 launch stressed Valve's servers in a way that required them to temporarily disable CSTV and demo recording. This means that, for now, Leetify is unable to get any data on your CS2 matches.
2. How can I let Valve know I want demos back?
Update as of 2023-11-08: Matchmaking demos are recording again, so Valve is taking steps to address the demo outage. Leaving this section of the blog intact for now, but you can hold off on sending demos feedback while they are actively pushing updates on it!
Valve's communication around this has all talked about it being "temporary," so we are optimistic things will return to the way they were. However, we don't know what Valve's timeline looks like for that return. If Valve doesn't hear that demos are a priority, they won't prioritize fixing it highly.
Of course you shouldn't bother Valve with this if you don't care about this issue. However, if you would like to see Valve prioritize replays over other things it's likely a good thing to let them know so they can prioritize accordingly. Please be kind though! We don't want Valve hating Leetify because our users said a bunch of rude stuff. If they have disabled replays, it's for good reason.

Please re-enable CSTV demos! CS is a lot more fun when I can use the replay to get highlights and check stats.
Automatic demos are a feature that I love about CS, so I hope you prioritize it highly.

3. What's Leetify doing in the meantime?
We need Valve to re-enable these demos, or we aren't going to survive. In the meantime, though, we are still doing what we can to take responsibility for this outage!
Pro Users
We have given 4 weeks of free Pro everyone who was subscribed to Pro when the replay outage began on 2023-09-28. If the outage stretches on longer than 4 weeks, we will make it right again.
It's not our goal to charge people when we aren't providing match pages for most users. If it feels like there's been radio silence on our end, it is because we have as little information about the situation as you, so we're focusing on getting clarity on this from Valve and finding ways to restore functionality.
We did everything we could to make sure the transition to CS2 was smooth, including working incredibly hard to build CS2 support during the Limited Test (this has still paid off for FACEIT demos, which continue to be available). Demos being disabled wasn't something that anyone expected, and there's not much we can do while they are gone.
We appreciate you sticking with us through this time where Leetify has been unable to track your MM performance. We are 10 people hacking away on something we love, and this replay outage has obviously been a huge blow to our short-term progress.

Feature Development
We are currently exploring ways we can provide value even while demos are not available.
We are investigating POV demos as a temporary workaround for you to get CS2 stats while the replay outage stretches on. We aren't quite ready to make any official promises about this, but we are working hard to find ways to still give you some value.
We are also continuing to add new features to Leetify and improve our infrastructure, so that when demos are re-enabled we can keep providing you a great experience.
