Improved Highlight Selection

Everyone with Leetify Pro gets their best rounds automatically turned into Highlights. Our goal is that when you get an outstanding play, Leetify requests a Highlight on your behalf. We identify your best rounds, send Highlight requests to Allstar.gg, and they process and host the video.

What did we improve?

Before August 2024, the Highlights system had two issues:

  1. If you got 2+ insane plays in the same game, only 1 of them got clipped.
  2. Players that tend to have fewer flashy rounds often had zero clips in the average match. There was a minimum threshold for a clip to generate, and that threshold was the same for everyone.

This wasn't our goal for Highlights - we want you to get clips for YOUR best plays. If you get two insane plays in the same game, you should get both of them clipped. And if you tend to make fewer flashy plays compared to others, you should still get automatic clips.

How it works now

Now, we keep track of each person's average Highlight Score. You have a personalized threshold for what is a "Great" clip for you individually. Any time you exceed that threshold, we request a clip automatically.

You'll now get multiple clips in the same match when you absolutely pop off. This also fixes the case where someone gets fewer Highlights in the long run because they are queuing with friends who are a higher rank than them.
